ORA is committed to providing safe solutions that meet engineering standards and provide effective designs that keep traffic moving on country roads, interstates or through intersections and interchanges.

The Orth-Rodgers & Associates Structures Group has extensive design experience in a diverse array of structural applications. Our capabilities include both the design of new structures and the analysis and rehabilitation of existing structures. These structures include bridges, culverts, retaining walls and overhead sign support structures.

In addition to bridge design the ORA Structures Group has considerable bridge inspection experience. We have the capability to provide thorough field inspection as well as comprehensive written documentation and bridge load rating calculations for structures ranging from single span stream crossings to large, complex multi span bridges. Our services span all phases of the National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) from initial inspections to periodic inspections and in-depth inspections.

The ORA inspection staff has completed a comprehensive NBIS Bridge Safety Inspection Course and has extensive knowledge of FHWA’s Bridge Inspection Training Manual 90. Our inspectors have past experience with several forms of bridge access equipment including: ladders, snoopers, rigging, scaffolding, boats and free climbing. Safety for themselves and for the general public is always a top priority with our inspection staff. Collectively our staff has completed well over 2000 bridge inspections.
