The Markley Street Improvement Project
U.S. 202, Section 500

Orth-Rodgers & Associates, Inc. was hired by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation to continue the Final Design for this project which will improve Markley Street in Norristown Borough, between Main Street and Johnson Highway.

Since this project will disrupt the residential and business community that traverses Markley Street, we proposed a proactive public involvement program to address the public’s needs and concerns during the Final Design phase.

Special aspects of our public involvement program include:

• A Kick Off Public Meeting and regular public meetings to follow
• Interim web site updates to the US 202 home page
• Press Releases
• Newsletters
• A Block-by-Block survey workshop to address specific parking issues
